Picking up vibrations.
Four voices found each other when everything went quiet.
In the spring of 2020, in a house on a street called Diana Drive, four people who already knew how to speak to one another through sound began building something in the silence of the pandemic era. We were picking up vibrations, complications, that refused to stay contained. What came out of those rooms became the first transmission: a self-titled record forged from powerful riffs, driving rhythms, and melodies that carried both immediate force and unexpected depth.
The signal had to move differently then. Through wires and screens instead of the rooms with stages built to evoke one's movement. It traveled without the air, the sweat, or the share of a breath.
Its intricate structures revealed themselves slowly, layers of tension and release that only became clear the longer the transmission was allowed to play.
Now the second transmission is arriving. We are enrolling in a lifetime, as we touch the sky. Shining beyond, day and night. We cannot stop it.
Coming through to me now.
